Faith, Family and Fists - A profile of boxer Steve USS Cunningham
More and more I'm getting a chance to make videos outside the world of bodybuilding.
Here's my latest, a quick profile of a boxer from my old neighborhood in Philadelphia.

Why you won't see my raw footage
I get many requests to see the raw footage of my projects. It ain't gonna happen!
You have to trust that what I am showing you is the best footage there is, and that there is no more good stuff. No artist in his/her right mind lets you see the crap. Our job is to show you only the best.
Art is in the editing.
Most of the time the unused footage is badly shot or the sound is bad or the subject is rambling or repeating himself or it's just plain boring because nothing is happening.
Does anyone really think I wouldn't use something that's GOOD? If you watched the raw footage I guarantee you would end up skipping over most of it and fast forwarding to the parts that are in my edited video.
That's what editing IS. Finding the good parts and leaving the trash behind.

Never be bored again!
Very often people (mostly young people) will post online that they are bored and don't know what to do with their time.
I have never felt that way. Ever. Even when I was young.
Here's my secret. Always have a creative project ongoing in your life.
It could be a painting, a novel or a poem. For me it was music, art and journalism. (Now video.) For some it could be work for a charity or a homeless shelter.
But no matter what it is, it must be something that moves you forward to a specific goal small increments at a time.
Free time becomes a precious gift to be used, not something to get through until the next Avengers movie comes out or your friends show up with the beer.
If your project is something that you can think about and plan about and dream about when you are standing in the line at the supermarket, you will never be bored.
Mike's words of wisdom for Saturday! :-)

"Kai Greene: A Day in the Life" a big success!
Recently, FLEX magazine commissioned me to create a video that would accompany a print article about what a day in the life was like for a top pro bodybuilder.
What we ended up with was a series of THREE videos that some are saying are the best bodybuilding documentaries that they've seen in a long time!
Here they are! Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

How awesome is this??
From the muscleandfitness.com marketing director talking about my X-FIT video series...
"Hey guys, I had the team pull the traffic from the site and since our early Feb. launch date, we’ve received 95,000 page views and users are spending on average over 2 minutes on the page. This is INCREDIBLE! We are EXTREMELY pleased with this showing. It’s one of the best performing campaigns on our site!"More proof that hard work pays off!
